Couple Freedoms |
Description |
Two keywords may be used to define ParaGeo coupled freedom sets depending on the specific constraint that will be applied: 1.*COUPLE FREEDOMS may be used to constrain displacements (freedoms) in one or several directions for a list of geometry sets. In this case the displacement in the specified directions is equal for all nodes in geometry set list. 2.*TIE may be used to tie conditions (degrees of freedom) from one geometry entity to one or more geometry entities using a master/slave approach, so that displacements for the Slave geometry entities are constrained to be equal to the Master geometry entity.

Description |

Defines Couple Freedoms data for generation of ParaGeo Couple_freedoms data. A list of geometry sets must be provided after the keyword and its corresponding parameters. Then specified freedoms will be coupled for specified geometry sets so that the displacement in the specified direction for a given geometry set in the list will be constant i all its nodes.

Description |

*TIE keyword is equivalent to ParaGeo Coupled_dreedoms data structure. Defines data to tie freedoms from one geometry entity (master) to one or more additional geometry entities (slaves) following Master/Slave approach. Following the *TIE keyword and all corresponding parameters a list with all slave entities must be provided.
