The Warp by Vector filter translates/deforms the dataset according to a vector array data. We can for example move hanging wall and foot wall contact surfaces apart to distinguish them. To perform a Warp by Vector operation:
.Select the dataset in the Pipeline Browser. In this example we will use an Extract Block dataset with contact surfaces.
.Click on the icon in the task bar or Filters/Alphabetical/Warp by Vector.
.In the properties window, in Vectors "Contact Normal Vector" is selected. In Scale Factor the distance for offset of the contact surfaces is defined (a negative number will move them apart from each other). In this case we will write -200.
.Click on . Now contact surfaces are separated a distance of 400 m from each other in the normal direction.
