Description |
Overview The Time_definition data structure may be used to define a geological time scale (in Ma b. p.) or an output time for output of the results.

Description |

Defines the geological time corresponding to the start of the simulation. The geological start time should be a positive number corresponding to the time relative to present-day or the end of the simulation. When specified all plot and history files are created using geological time rather than simulation (forward) time.

Defines the output date at the state of the start of the analysis. Valid format for the date are: •"dd/mm/year"; e.g. 21/01/1991 •"dd-mmm-year"; e.g. 21-Jan-1991 •"dd/mm/year hh:mm:ss"; e.g. 21/01/1991 10:00:00 •"dd-mmm-year hh:mm:ss"; e.g. 21-Jan-1991 10:00:00
Notes •If Start_output_date is specified then the units of time must be days or years

Description |

Defines the output time at the end of the step. When specified the output time is scaled over the step using the output time at the start and end of the step. By default the scaling is linear but a load curve may also be assigned.
