Transformed_freedoms

Data Structure: Transformed_freedoms

Description

Transformed freedom data structure

Usage

Transformed_freedoms     NUM=ival   where ival  is the data structure number

Description

Overview

The Transformed_freedoms data structure allows the rotation of the coordinate system of all nodes that define one or more geometry entities; i.e. points, lines, surfaces, volumes and geometry sets. This may be desirable for example to prescribe a normal displacement to a tilted boundary. The local coordinate system is defined using the Coordinate_system data structure.
