Case02 Forward model from a non-final restoration point

The present case aims to demonstrate the workflow and data required to perform a forward simulation from a restoration point which is not the final restored geometry. To this end the history from deposition of formation08 to present day will be considered. It should be noted that steps 1 to 4 are identical than in Case01 (the same restoration simulation will be used). Hence, in order to facilitate the identification of the specific files required for the present case, those identical / obtained from Case01 will still append Case01 in their name.

Thus the present case comprises the following workflow steps:

5.Restoration 2 forward to process the restoration results and obtain the data for the forward modelling.

6.Obtain the facies grid from the target restoration state that will be used as the initial forward simulation facies distribution. This involves using the Read_plt_file data structure to read the plot file results from the target restoration state (initial state for the forward modelling) and performing a Spatial_grid_output with the distribution of facies.

7.Forward simulation for stages encompassing from the target restored state to the present day.

It should be noted that as in Case01 the files will append the step number which indicates in which workflow step those were obtained / defined.
