This tutorial example shows how to export spatial grids with any state variable specified. It is recommended to follow the SpatVar_001 chapter first in order to get familiarized with grid definition and different grid types.
The exported spatial grids are exported within a file with extension (.spat) in ParaGeo format. They can be later loaded in other models or processed with other software. A simple geometry is defined for that example consisting in a 1000 m high and 100 m wide 2D column. Fixities are provided with rollers in the base and sides of the model. Material will be assumed to be elastic. The simulation will consider two stages:
1.Gravity loading
2.Load at top surface
After the two loading stages a spatial grid will be output.
Specific issues considered in this example are:
1Output of Spatial grids with different grid formats
2Definition of reference sets so that the increment in specified variables can be plotted / exported as a grid
