Ex_010 Continuum Fault Flow Model

The present example demonstrates definition of data structures and keywords for usage of the continuum fault flow model by which permeability my be enhanced and strength may be optionally decreased in fault elements. Identification of fault elements may be predicted (at the moment limited to a plastic strain threshold criteria) or prescribed by using fault seeding with the fault path defined via  part geometry. The following examples will be used to demonstrate usage of the continuum fault flow model:

1.Case01: A confined compression test with prescribed pore pressure at the top and base surfaces

2.Case02: A 4 layer model with deposition of 3 extra layers considering propagation of 2 faults with different properties and different propagation times

Note that in the present tutorial only data relevant to the continuum fault flow model will be described.
