Material data can be defined within the main model datafile or optionally can be read from an external .mat file with the appropriate keywords as shown below. In such case the referenced material file must be placed within the same folder as the model datafile.

 

The different data structures relevant to defining material and fluid properties are:

 

•Fluid_properties defining the properties for the pore fluid.

•Material_data defining the constitutive models and properties that will define the model rheology and physical behaviour.

•Diagenesis_data defining properties for diagenetic reactions that can be assigned to a given/any materials.
